What costs are incurred when renting out my holiday flat?

A fee is charged for every booking and chargeable cancellation, which is automatically deducted from your payout. The exact amount of the fee may vary depending on the location of your property. You will find details of this when you create your property in the partner portal.

Why should I sign up if my property is already listed on CHECK24?

If your property is listed through a CHECK24 partner, you do not have direct access to your bookings and cannot manage your listing yourself. With your own account on the partner portal, you retain full control over prices, availability, and content, benefit from guaranteed payouts, and can optimize your listing specifically to attract more bookings.

How can I protect myself if guests damage my property?

As a host, ask your guests for a deposit to cover possible damage. The amount should cover repair and replacement costs. In the event of damage, use the deposit for repairs; otherwise it will be refunded in full after the stay.

How can I protect myself if a guest comes to harm in my property?

If your guest is injured during their stay in your property, you are automatically covered by our insurance partner Hiscox. For example: If your guest trips over a loose cable and injures themselves or gets their expensive designer jumper caught on an unpolished corner of the kitchen and demands compensation, Hiscox experts will check the claims. Justified claims are covered by the insurance. If they are unjustified, the legal experts at Hiscox will defend the claims for you - even in court. The liability insurance applies to properties in the European Economic Area (EEA).
